Timnas’s FIFA ranking goes up after defeating higher-ranked Curacao

Jakarta, IO – After winning two matches against the Curacao national team on FIFA Matchday, the Indonesian National Football Team’s (Timnas) FIFA ranking went up by one place to 152. For the win, Indonesia gained 7.41 points, increasing its total points to 1,034.01, overtaking the Dominican Republic which accumulated 1,031.86 points.

Indonesia won the first match with a score of 3-2 on Saturday (24/9) and the second match with the score of 2-1 on Tuesday (27/9).

In this second match, Indonesia’s goals were scored by Dimas Drajad (2’) and Dendy Sulistiawan (84’). While Curacao’s goal was scored by Jeremy Antonisse (56’).

With this defeat, Curacao’s rank now dropped from 85 to 86 with a total of 1,278.64 points. (rr)
