Ternate, IO – The 49th Sultan of Ternate Hidayatullah Sjah awarded President Joko Widodo an honorary title on the sidelines of his working visit to North Maluku Province. The conferment ceremony was held at the Ternate Sultanate court on Wednesday (28/9).
The Sultan of Ternate conveyed the title “Kaicil Joko Widodo Dada Madopo Lamo” (Noble Prince of the Ternate Sultanate Family) which also means “a great leader” or “leader of a great country.”
“Kaicil is a prince or the first in the Ternate Sultanate’s line of succession,” said Sultan Hidayatullah Sjah, according to the Cabinet Secretariat broadcast on Wednesday (28/9).
