Jakarta, IO – Ryan Wibawa, a coffee brewer from Indonesia, made waves at the 2024 World Brewers Cup in Chicago, US on April 12-14.
He won third place in the global competition, according to the Specialty Coffee Association of Indonesia’s social media account @aksi_scai, per Okezone, Wed (17/4).
“Three coffees from three countries, also excellence from Indonesia United in Diversity, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, brought Ryan Wibawa to third place in the world stage at the 2024 World Brewers Cup,” read the statement.
“Thank you for your hard work for Indonesia. We are proud that Indonesian coffee is once again on the highest stage in the world.”

Ryan also expressed his pride via his personal social media account @ryanwibawa. “To God be the glory,” wrote Ryan while showing off a photo of his trophy at the 2024 World Brewers Cup.
The 2024 World Brewers Cup is a competition for top brewers from various countries in recognition of the coffee brewing skills. (un)
