Jakarta, IO – Framed pictures of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the President and Vice President are already being offered to the public in Pasar Baru market, Central Jakarta. The framed portraits are suitable for hanging in schools and offices.
Although the process of dispute resolution over the 2024 presidential election results (PHPU) is still ongoing, and the inauguration of the newly-elected president-vice president will not take place until October, photos of the successful candidates for 2024–2029 have already begun to be marketed.
According to Fathorrahman (50), a local seller, he decided to cash in early to sell the framed pictures of the Prabowo-Gibran duo, as the popularly-elected president and vice president.
The photos are selling at prices ranging from IDR 300,000 to IDR 500,000 per set, depending on the size of the photo or frame ordered. Each pair of framed pictures will offer the buyers individual photos of Prabowo, Gibran, and the Garuda emblem as well.
Fathorrahman admitted that he had sold over 500 pairs of framed pictures during the two days following the KPU announcement in March, both online and in his store.

The General Election Commission (KPU) declared the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka candidate pair as the 2024 presidential election winners on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, obtaining 96,214,691 valid votes, equivalent to 58.6 percent of the total national votes of 164,227,475.
