Jakarta, IO – Ahead of Eid 2022, parcel (gift package of assorted snacks and drinks) sellers at Cikini Gold Center (CGC) are flooded with orders. Hundreds of parcels lined up in each store. Some have the owner’s name affixed, some are still being packaged.
“Usually, we offer several designs. If a customer wants a parcel worth Rp500,000, we will give them a design sample. If they like it, usually they will order in large quantity,” Adi, one of the vendors, told Observerid.com at the ground floor of CGC, Saturday (30/4).

“The prices vary, for example this one with sarong costs Rp700,000. The cost of design is only Rp100,000,” said the craftsman who started his trade there after he moved from Cikini Station in 2012.
