ZAP Clinic dermatologist dr. Rahma Evasari, Sp.DV said dry skin is a sign that the body is dehydrated. Lack of fluids can actually be prevented even during fasting.

However, if one’s diet lacks nutrition and intake of mineral water is insufficient when breaking fast and predawn meal (sahur), dehydration is inevitable.
