“Indeed, we have to avoid consuming foods and drinks that make us feel good. For example, when breaking fast, we tend to want to eat fried snacks and drink something sweet. However, the effect is actually bad for the skin,” said dr. Rahma on Thursday (21/4).

She added that too much intake of milk, sugar, and flour can cause skin problems such as acne.

Naturally, fasting can actually accelerate skin regeneration. However, due to inadequate nutrition, compounded with less physical activity, skin problems may appear.
