Hamid also noted the contribution of Islamic philanthropic organizations known as Ziswaf (Zakat, Infaq, Sedekah & Wakaf), in raising, managing and utilizing religious donations.
These organizations have transformed into modern philanthropic institutions by utilizing a variety of strategies to raise donations both through conventional and digital manner, as well as apply transparent and accountable donation management standards.

Ziswaf activists have also succeeded in expanding the utilization of the proceeds for strategic and long-term programs, such as economic empowerment, environmental conservation, child protection, to legal aid and policy advocacy.
