Jakarta, IO – Fans, get ready! GIGI will be holding the “GIGI – Free Your Soul Live in Jakarta” on 17 March 2023, to celebrate their 29th anniversary. The concert will be held at the Puri Agung Convention Centre, Grand Sahid Jaya Jakarta, with Danurwenda Karya Utama and Grand Sahid Jaya Jakarta as promotors. A limited number of seats are available for purchase online, from 1 February 2023.
In the band’s nearly three-decadelong career, GIGI’s many albums have enjoyed success, in both our country and abroad. They are so popular: fans at their concerts sing along to most of the songs being played! Therefore, to close 2023’s first quarter, the promotors are allowing GIGI fans to reunite with their beloved Armand Maulana (vocals), Dewa Budjana (guitar), Thomas Ramadhan (bass), and Gusti Hendy (drum).
Danurwenda Karya Utama CEO Yudha Sukmana reminds everyone that GIGI is one of Indonesia’s legendary bands. “In nearly 30 years of their career, they managed the difficult feat of maintaining their musical character while growing musically as a band. This is why they have so many loyal fans in the Homeland, and why we (Danurwenda) as promotor and fan want to invite our fellow GIGI lovers in Jakarta to indulge in nostalgia with us,” he declared.
