Jakarta, IO – The dancing fountain Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) makes it to the list of five best fountains in the world, in the same league with the Spectra Light and Water Show at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore and the West Lake Musical Fountain in Hangzhou, China, according to InJourney.

The fountain delivers performance using special technology that creates water jets with beautiful patterns. Not only that, the show is even more stunning because it matches the rhythm of the music and lighting, per Detikcom, Wed (17/4).

The top position is occupied by the Spectra Light and Water Show at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. This 15-minute performance features a combination of water movements along with lasers, lights, as well as soundscapes and original orchestral music composed by Kenn C, a Singaporean music producer and composer.

This dancing fountain visualizes the story of Singapore’s journey from a multicultural society to a cosmopolitan city.

Meanwhile, the West Lake Musical Fountain, near the Grand Hyatt Hotel, showcases the beauty of Hangzhou’s famed West Lake and is considered a cultural landmark popular with tourists.  Even though it was closed in 2020 for repairs, it has reopened to the public since July last year.

The dancing fountain at TMII is ranked third. Its special features include the largest drone show in Southeast Asia, created by local talents. It starts every day at 6.45pm WIB at Lake Archipelago.

“Tirta Cerita is located in the TMII area, precisely on Archipelago Lake, which is a miniature of the Indonesian archipelago. In this performance we can see the harmonization of musical arrangements with spectacular video mapping featuring attractions by approximately 300 drones,” said InJouney. (bp)
