Jakarta, IO – The Jonas Brothers have a huge reason to feel proud and happy recently: the musical brothers have been awarded the 2745th star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in the “Recording” category, on Monday (30/01/2023). Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas attended the Hollywood Walk of Fame Star inauguration with their respective life partners. This is a “shocker” from them after a while, as they last surprised everyone by releasing the single “Sucker” in 2019 after a six-year hiatus.
In her official statement, Hollywood Walk of Fame Producer Ana Martinez declared that the Jonas Brothers have “…contributed greatly to Music for over fifteen years, and they have also significantly impacted the Entertainment world with their work as musicians, actors, and entertainers overall. We’re so honored to be able to welcome the Jonas Brothers to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The fans will be thrilled when they find out that their favorite group will be having their star placed on the Walk of Fame where they can actually touch the star and pose with it,” she said.
Kevin Jonas could not contain his joy and gratitude: “This is a testament to the love and support of our fans, our family and our friends who have been with us every step of the way, who strengthened us so we can continue our career in entertainment,” he choked during his acceptance speech.
Jonas Brothers fans have another thing to look forward to after the Hollywood Walk of Fame Star: the Brothers also confirm that they will be releasing a new song in May. “Hollywood! Here we are. According to the Hollywood Walk of Fame official webpage, the Jonas Brothers were established in 2005. They started to become popular when they starred in Disney Channel film and series, including “Camp Rock” (2007), “Camp Rock 2” (2010), and own reality TV show, “Jonas” (2009).
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is the iconic pedestrian space located along Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street, Los Angeles, USA. It is made up of star tiles containing the name and contribution of worthy actors, musicians, and other celebrated entertainers in history.
