Jakarta, IO – The sound of guitar and ukulele accompanies the poetry reading in the Artesis Forum at Art Gallery 1, Gedung Panjang, Taman Ismail Marzuki.
This event is one of the agendas of the archive exhibition “Tribute to Urban Masters” to celebrate the works of Sapardi Djoko Damono and Wagiono Sunarto, which will take place at the same location until Wednesday, August 17.
The musical poetry that night was led by Reda Gaudiamo, Tatyana Soebianti and Umar Muslim for 90 minutes. They are artists who have interacted with the two figures whose works have coloured Indonesia’s literature and art scene.
Umar Muslim plays the guitar, Reda Gaudiamo plays the ukulele while singing, accompanied by Tatyana Soebianto’s melodious voice.
