Ketut said the permit given was located on an area of convertible production forest (HPK), right to manage (HPL) and limited production forest (HPT) in Indragiri Hulu regency. However, Ketut said, the permit was given without going through a proper procedure.
AGO suspects that PT Duta Palma Group does not have a forest area release permit (HGU) to date. Not only that, PT Duta Palma Group is also suspected of not meeting its legal obligation in a 20% profit-sharing scheme in line with the Agriculture Ministry Regulation 26/2007.
