Meanwhile, during a press conference yesterday, Wednesday (26/10), Jakarta Police Criminal Investigation Bureau director Chief Commissioner Hengki Haryadi said Siti Elina was understood to steal the firearm from her uncle, an ex-soldier.
“From our investigation, the pistol was stolen a day before she carried out her action,” said Hengki.
As for the motive, Hengki said according to the suspect she was trying to meet President Joko Widodo to convey her message that Islam, instead of Pancasila, should be the state ideology.
