IO, Jakarta — Chairman of the National Committee to Elect Prabowo-Sandi (BPN) Djoko Santoso said the committee rejects the result of the General Election Commission’s (KPU) count of the votes casted in the 2019 Presidential Election.

The committee assessed that there had been countless acts of fraud in the election, costing Prabowo-Sandi their votes, Santoso said Tuesday at a symposium that uncovered the facts behind such electoral fraud, held in Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel, Jakarta.

“Looking at what the experts have shown regarding electoral fraud in the 2019 election, and referring to recommendations made by the secretary generals of parties in the Just and Prosperous coalition, based on these findings, BPN Prabowo-Sandi and the people of Indonesia acknowledging their democratic rights — we will reject the result of KPU RI’s vote count that are currently taking place,” Santoso said.

A number of technical experts on BPN or in support of Prabowo-Sandi exposed multiple examples of fraudulent behavior before, during, and after the election, which took place Wednesday, April 17. Some of these behaviors include millions of fictitious names of the Final Voters List (DPT), money politics, the exploitation of state apparatus, ballot papers that votes were already casted, and data entry mistakes by KPU on their vote counting website.

Santoso added that proof of such fraud and injustice against Prabowo-Sandi had been reported to KPU. Unfortunately, KPU has not followed-up on these reports.

“A few days ago we sent a letter to KPU, and we asked them to conduct an IT audit on their system, we asked and we pleaded for them to stop their vote counting and data entry system that has structurally, systematically, and massively suppress legitimate votes casted for Prabowo-Sandi,” Santoso added.
