Jakarta, IO – Indonesia has officially entered the quarter-final round of the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup. Apart from Indonesia, five other national teams – South Korea, Japan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Qatar — have also qualified for the final eight.
Indonesia defeated Jordan 4-1 in the third match of Group A at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium, Qatar, Sunday (21/4), per Detikcom, Monday (22/4).
This victory allowed Indonesia to collect 6 points and became the runner of Group A behind Qatar (7 points).
Indonesian national team coach Shin Tae-yong said he was satisfied with the performance of his squad.

However, he said this achievement was still 50 percent of the target he set, that is to advance to the semi-final.
