Jakarta, IO – A decade has passed since Shella Saukia, an entrepreneur from Aceh, the Land of Rencong, started her passion for fashion through a modest clothing brand under her name.
To celebrate her decade-long success in the fashion industry, Shella held her first fashion show: The FirSSt Gala of Shella Saukia.
The audience was enthralled by 70 sets of outfits, presented by 55 stunning models and 15 celebrities, including Aurel Hermansyah, Citra Kirana, Dara Arafah, Inara Rusli, Kartika Putri, Lesti Kejora, Melodi Laksani, Nabila Taqiyya, Nikita Mirzani, Okky Setiana Dewi, Ria Ricis, Rizki Billar, Titi Kamal, Venny, and Aghnia, who walked on the runway in various attires representing specific chapters of Shella’s fashion inspiration.
The Blossom Collection
This collection, featuring 20 outfits with intricate details, such as frills, pleats and laces infused with strong feminine impressions, commenced the fashion show. The collection strongly characterizes Shella Saukia’s style and DNA; it plays with light, flowly materials in soft colors like gray and light blue.
The Black and White Collection
Elegance, luxurious radiance and splendor of magnificent dresses highlight the 20 outfits in the collection, which embrace big ribbons, sequins and capes. The dresses come in pristine white and deep black.
The Level Up Collection
After the audience feasts their eyes on the luxurious and grandeur collections, they are now pampered with the light, effortless clothing created especially for young people. Shella Saukia’s second line, with the Level Up label, exhibits ten sets of clothing, such as oversized blouses, cargo pants, vests, and straight-cut overalls – simple yet fashionable.
The Palestine Collection
The next chapter conveys Shella’s sympathy and concern for Palestine. Ten elegant dresses come in white fabric with a touch of floral motifs that blend harmoniously with geometric motifs in Palestine’s distinguishing colors of green, red and black. The proceeds from this collection’s sales will be donated to the Palestinian people who have become war victims.
The Aceh Collection
Black dresses with Tanah Gayo woven pattern harmonizing with Shella Saukia’s monogram walk the audience through her homeland in Aceh. Using an all-black fabric with a hint of dark blue and accented by gold geometric motifs, this collection exuberates luxury – the perfect collection that ends the show.
The fashion show collection is graced by shoe collections by “Langkah by Lina Lee” and accessories by maestro Rinaldy Yunardy. The FirSSt Gala of Shella Saukia becomes a perfection as it is conducted by Fashion Director Caren Delano.

“This performance is not a fashion show, but I call it a “fashion showtainment” because the diverse element in each chapter will bring us to many places with miscellaneous atmospheres,” said Caren Delano.
“I want the audience to feel the beautiful memories that I experienced and put into each chapter of the collection and make this an enchanting memory,” said Shella Saukia, the host of The FirSSt of Shella Saukia fashion show. (des)
