IO, Purwokerto – A poster by Aqila Aliffia Faozi and Kirana Shafa Ridha from the Department of Dentistry, Faculty of Medicine, and Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Health Sciences, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto, Central Java, has won second place in the 2020 Gebyar Farmasi (Pharmacy Festival). Their poster entitled “Ready to Study Safely” was also named a “favorite” winner.
Gebyar Farmasi is an annual competition organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Andalas University, West Sumatra. Participants come from 35 universities all over Indonesia. This year the theme raised is “New Normal” as a form of concern for the Covid-19 pandemic that has hit all parts of the world and has been persisting for seven months; it is not yet known when it will end.
Aqila said that the inspiration for the poster “Ready to Study Safely” came from the fact that several universities have begun reverting to a regimen of face-to-face lectures. “It is necessary to implement a health protocol during lectures to avoid transmission. Among other things, maintaining a good distance from other students, lecturers, or campus staff and avoiding crowds, always wearing a mask, either inside the lecture room or outside, washing hands after touching items or after traveling, and maintaining body immunity,” Aqila said as quoted by the Public Relations
