Jakarta, IO – As the Indonesian entrepreneurs’ forum, The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) will collaborate with WIR Group, Southeast Asia’s leading augmented-reality technology company, to digitally present in the metaverse in order to compete and adapt to the technological advances and create a strong and highly competitive Indonesian business world. An agreement to this effect was signed by the Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, M. Arsjad Rasjid P.M and the President Commissioner and Co-Founder of the WIR Group, Daniel Surya, in Jakarta.
Arsjad stated that the projected cooperation with WIR Group to develop metaverse is Kadin’s effort to digitally transform and align itself with technological developments in the borderless digital world. “The digital metaverse technology developed by the WIR Group enables Kadin as a national economic driving force to innovate and be more creative technologically. As a forum for fostering, communicating, providing information, representation, consultation, facilitation and advocacy for Indonesian entrepreneurs, we will eternally strive to make important breakthroughs to benefit industry and the national economy,” added Arsjad .

According to Arsjad, the metaverse technology is beneficial to promoting Indonesian products through exhibitions and virtual exposure, and aims to increase conversion on an international scale. “One of the breakthroughs is presenting entrepreneurs’ products in virtual displays to allow potential buyers to visit. The metaverse platform providing direct “buyer meet seller” activity is an important breakthrough for easier and more economical promotion and marketing,” said Arsjad.
