Ignatia Nilu, Curator: “I’m excited to present Nuanu’s first Art Residency Program, where Nuanu tries to find a cultural learning format that focuses on developing ideas and artistic practices with an innovative socio-ecological vision. Inspired by Bali as a cultural entity, we are expanding what is human and nature in relation to today’s context, as the core ideas of artistic exploration. Redefining what the is environment beyond walls is our Adicitta (“direction”) —Rethinking nature. We need more support for the continuity of the art ecosystem in Indonesia, as what we had with Nuanu”.
