Jakarta, IO – President Joko Widodo’s invitation to President Volodymyr Zelensky to attend the G20 Summit in Bali in November is commended as a positive move.
University of Indonesia’s international law expert Professor Hikmahanto Juwana said Zelensky should attend the G20 forum as it can serve as a compromise for Ukraine.

“This invitation should be appreciated as a form of compromise between the US and its allies and Russia, where both sides are using the G20 forum as a battlefield,” Hikmahanto told Kompas on Friday (29/4).
“This invitation is better than meeting the harsh demand from the US to exclude Russia from the G20,” he added.
