Jakarta, IO – Police’s anti-terror squad Densus 88 arrested two terrorists in Jambi province.
Head of operation Police chief commissioner Aswin Siregar has not revealed their identity but he said they are affiliated with the Anshor Daulah (AD) terrorist network, Suara reported on Wednesday (16/8).
Aswin said AD is an old group. There are several terrorist groups that are reportedly active in Indonesia including the Jamaah Islamiyah (JI), Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD), Mujahidin Indonesia Timur (MIT) Poso, and the Islamic State of Indonesia (NII).

Between 2020 and 2021, of the 602 terrorist suspects arrested by Densus 88, 141 of them were AD members. (un)
