Kraken is known to be highly contagious. The case in East Kalimantan was traced to a Polish citizen who traveled to Balikpapan. He also spent a night in Jakarta, and showed a symptom of mild coughing. However, his condition immediately improved and he was declared negative after undergoing isolation for eight days, reported Detik, Thursday (2/2).

The second case was found in a 47-year-old woman. She tested positive for COVID-19 after returning from an Umrah trip to Saudi Arabia. But she has now recovered after isolation.

According to the Director General of Disease Prevention and Control (P2P) Maxi Rein Rondonuwu, the cases were detected at the end of January. He confirmed that in the two cases it only caused mild coughing and slight fever without the need for hospital treatment.
