Jakarta, IO – The electability of Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto continues to increase ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

Poll conducted by Voxpopuli Research Center showed that Prabowo Subianto is still the top contender in the presidential candidacy bourse and his electability keeps trending up, Okezone reported on Wednesday (14/9).

“Prabowo’s electability was 21.3 percent in June, this climbed to 22.1 percent in September,” announced Voxpopuli Research Center senior researcher Prijo Wasono.

Trailing Prabowo is Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo whose electability tends to be flat at 21 percent year to date.

Prijo said that up to now the defense minister is only supported by Gerindra and PKB. Other parties grouped under the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) — Golkar, PAN, and PPP — has yet to decide on who they will nominate.
