Jakarta, IO – The central board of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PP PBSI) will make history by holding the first President’s Cup since its founding in 1951.
PP PBSI chairman Agung Firman Sampurna said the championship which took place at the Nanggala Sports Center, Cijantung, East Jakarta on August 1-6.
“The President’s Cup badminton championship will be historic. Finally, after great efforts, we are able to realize our ambition to hold this event,” said Agung in an official statement, Monday (25/7).
The championship will enliven the badminton scene in the country as it seeks to nurture future badminton champions who will take up the baton in advancing Indonesia’s achievements in badminton.
