He appealed to WNIs in South Korea to be alert and keep monitoring the information from the local authorities.

Several cities have been hit by the so-called “flood of the century”, including Seoul, Incheon, and parts of Gyeonggi and Gangwon provinces. Seven people were reportedly killed and seven others are missing.

The massive flood was caused by record rainfall. Images circulating on social media showed people are walking through flooded streets and subway stations. Many cars were also inundated. (un)
