Jakarta, IO – The Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) announced that Prabowo Subianto’s electability trend has strengthened compared to Ganjar Pranowo in the run up to 2024 presidential election.

The poll was conducted on March 31-April 4 involving 1,229 respondents using random digit dialing (RDD) method.

Prabowo garnered 30.3 percent of votes, followed closely by Ganjar with 26.9 percent and Anies with 25.3 percent.

“For the first time since last year, Prabowo Subianto is back to being number oner,” said LSI Executive Director Djayadi Hanan, Sunday (9/4).

Djayadi said the trend of Prabowo’s electability has increased by around 3.6 percent from 26.7 percent previously while Ganjar fell significantly over the last two months, around 8 percent from 35 percent to 26.9 percent. Anies’s electability tends to stabilize, only strengthening slightly by 1.3 percent.

“What’s interesting here is that the 8 percent decline in votes for Ganjar’s split among the undecided, some went to Prabowo and Anies,” pointed out Djayadi.
