Jakarta, IO – The National Commission on Human Rights (Komnas HAM) refuted the rumour that Brigadier Yosua (Brig. J), aide to the non-active Police internal affairs chief Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, died on the way from Magelang to Jakarta.
Komnas HAM commissioner Choirul Anam said the conclusion was reached after the commission conducted an investigation into the death of Brigadier J. According to Anam, Brigadier J was still chatting and laughing with other aides of Sambo before the shooting incident on Friday (8/7) took place.
“He was heard laughing in a forum established for communication among the ADCs [aide-de-camp], before his death. The location was in Jakarta,” said Choirul Anam, as reported by Kompas, Wednesday (27/7).
