Jakarta administration waives transport fares, museum fee to celebrate city’s 495th anniversary

Jakarta, IO – To celebrate Jakarta’s 495th anniversary on Wednesday (22/6), the city’s administration provides free public transportation and waives admission fee to a number of museums.

The measure will be implemented in 11 museums under the management of the Jakarta Culture Agency, namely the Jakarta History Museum, Joang 45 Museum, Inscription Museum, MH Thamrin Museum, Textile Museum, Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum, Puppet Museum, Maritime Museum, Onrust Archaeological Park, Si Pitung Museum, and Betawi Setu Babakan Museum, according to CNN Indonesia.

For public transportation services, anyone can enjoy Transjakarta, LRT, and MRT services free of charge, based on Jakarta Transportation Agency Decree No. e-0076/2022.
