Jakarta, IO – Veda Ega Pratama, 14, has succeeded in winning the 2023 Asia Talent Cup in Malaysia. This achievement is also a golden history for the racing scene in Indonesia. Veda is the first Indonesian racer to win the Asia Talent Cup, per CNN Indonesia, Tue (14/11).
He follows in the footsteps of a number of racers who have also won the Asia Talent Cup, such as Ayumu Sasaki from Japan and Somkiat Chantra from Thailand. They managed to make a name for themselves and have competed in grand prix races.
This means that the Veda’s could be an important stepping stone for his future career path. If past history of the Asia Talent Cup is any indication, past winners have made impressive records in world-class racing events.

Veda who was born on November 23, 2008, and achieved impressive performance at the 2023 Asia Talent Cup. He won seven of the 10 races he competed in.
The Asia Talent Cup is a motorbike racing competition intended for young racers in Asia and Oceania. This event was held by Dorna, the company that holds the commercial rights to the MotoGP motorbike sport. The Asia Talent Cup was founded in 2013 and held its inaugural season in 2014. (un)
