Indonesia’s Ambassador for Switzerland Muliaman Hadad confirmed the news in a virtual presser last night (9/6). According to him, after the body was found, Swiss forensic team conducted a standard examination to identify the body. “On Thursday, June 9, in the afternoon, they confirmed that based on DNA test the body was indeed Eril,” explained Muliaman.

Eril was missing when he was swimming with his sister and friends in one of the Swiss’ longest river. Elpi Nazmuzaman, a relative of Ridwan Kamil, said Eril was seen having difficulty reaching the river bank and was swept away by the strong current. His body was found after 12 days of search by the Swiss authority. (un)
