Reported symptoms of acute hepatitis include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, sometimes accompanied with low-grade fever. The symptoms may get worse, such as dark-coloured urine that looks like tea and tarry stools.
“Don’t wait until yellow symptoms appear or even losing consciousness, because this condition shows that the hepatitis infection has become very severe. If it’s too late to get medical treatment, the momentum for doctors to help the patients will diminish,” he said. (at)
