Hindus in Bali celebrates Tumpek Landep which commemorates Saraswati or the Day of Knowledge.
Denpasar Tourism Office explained that the knowledge that was passed down during Tumpek Landep was “re-forged” so that it could be implemented on the path to Dharma. Tumpek Landep is a celebration to purify one’s mind, mental and spirituality.

During Tumpek Landep, Hindus usually perform a cleansing ceremony and sanctify artefacts such as kris and sacred weapons, as a form of gratitude to God Almighty for bestowing knowledge to humans.
