The 2022 SIPA, Art as The Spirit of Life-Changing Experience

Solo, IO – Solo International Performing Arts (SIPA) is an annual performing arts festival first held in Solo in 2009. Up until 2012, SIPA was arranged to take place at Pamedan Pura Mangkunegaran Solo, before eventually being rescheduled at Vastenburg Fort, Solo, in 2013. 

The Solo International Performing Art (SIPA) 2022 event, taking place at Vastenburg Fort, Kedung Lumbu Village, Pasar Kliwon District, Surakarta, Central Java, from September 8 to 10, 2022, will emphasize “Art as The Spirit of Life Changing”. 

Mayor of Banjarmasin H Ibnu Sina inaugurated the 2022 SIPA by ceremonially striking a gong, followed by Director of SIPA Community R. Ay Irawati Kusumorasri, Director of the Korean Culture Center Kim Yong Woon, Secretary of Youth and Sports and Tourism of Central Java Sulistyo and Secretary of the Deputy for Tourism Products and Event Organizers of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) Edy Wardoyo.
