Director of SIPA Irawati Kusumorasri elaborated on how this year’s theme represents economic recovery, reviving from the Covid-19 pandemic. The 2022 SIPA’s theme “Art as The Spirit of The Life-Changing” expresses life changes and relates art as the changes’ driving force.
“We thank the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Central Java Disporapar, the Government of Surakarta City, and all the delegates from domestic and foreign artists,” she saluted.
The 2022 SIPA performance stage symbolizes art as a spirit of changing life. The Spirit of Life Changing holds hope for a better world. “SIPA’s stage performance in Solo City ignites the spirit of changing lives through beauty,” he said.
