The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy commended the success of the 2022 SIPA event and inspired a huge hope that the tourism industry and the creative economy would rise, develop and contribute to the local and national economy.

Director of Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (KCCI) Kim Yong Woon highly commended the SIPA performance. “Even amid the pandemic, SIPA still keeps their artistic spirit high and becomes a reference for performing arts, much awaited and admired by many people,” he said.

Kim said that for 2022 SIPA KCCI would present the Garuda Taekwondo Demonstration Team, a combination of South Korea’s Taekwondo martial arts and elements of Indonesian culture. Garuda Taekwondo presents young Indonesians achievers. “(This) is one of the special moments for both Korea and Indonesia. I would like to thank the Indonesian people for their unyielding attention, care and love for Korea. I sincerely hope that Indonesia and South Korea will have closer and better relations,” he said.
