Jakarta, IO – A South Korean citizen tried to jump from an eight floor of an apartment in Kembangan, West Jakarta, Wednesday (14/9). However, firefighters from the Kembangan fire station foiled his attempt.
“Rescue workers managed to evacuate a man from an apartment at Puri Indah Raya St., Kembangan, West Jakarta who was trying to commit suicide,” wrote the fire station’s public relations staff via Instagram account @humasjakfire, Thursday (15/9).
According to Warta Kota, chief firefighter Baden Badru explained that the suicide attempt was driven by frustration after the man had an argument with his wife.
