Jakarta, IO – President Joko Widodo directed his ministers to focus on work and not campaigning, in response to media question about a minister campaigning on the sidelines of a party event at Sukamandi market, Subang regency, West Java, Tuesday (12/7).
“I ask all ministers to focus on work. If he is the trade minister, he should take care of the most important task I gave him before, to lower the price of cooking oil,” Jokowi said as quoted from the Cabinet Secretariat press release, Tuesday (12/7).
Jokowi also emphasized that ministers, especially those whose portfolio is related to energy and food, should be focused as the global supply chain has been disrupted.
“Everyone must focus on work, especially those related to energy and food, this is important. I will continue to take care of matters related to fuel, matters related to energy such as coal, all because of the global disruption, so we must concentrate and do not let ourselves trip in these two sectors,” said Jokowi.
