Jakarta, IO – PDI-P secretary general Hasto Kristiyanto has ruled out the possibility of his party forming a coalition with the Democratic Party and PKS in the upcoming elections. He said there were many differences that set PDI-P and the two parties apart.

“With PKS, no,” Hasto said in response to question from CNN Indonesia, Thursday (23/6). “Personally, as secretary general, it is also not easy to work with the Democratic party because various political dynamics have shown this.”

Hasto further pointed to the different characteristics of the three parties’ supporters. According to him, PDI-P supporters are ordinary people who dislike “political camouflage.”
