Jakarta, IO – On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at the pop-up store exhibition area in Senayan City, Jakarta, the modest fashion brand Donna Privé held a press conference and special media presentation to launch the new Carendelano series for Donna Privé: Madre.
“We have recognized Carendelano’s talent for a long time. He is an all-around artist with profound expertise in fashion. Therefore, we proposed a collaboration with Caren to enhance our brand. Inputs from Caren greatly helped us to look at designs from various perspectives, so we did not hesitate to expand this business,” explained Donna Privé CEO Muliani Alif Lakoreasa, commonly known as Muli.
“As someone who understands and engages in the fashion industry, I have a responsibility to share my knowledge of fashion with many people. Throughout my career, I have seen a lot of great potential coming from outside Jakarta. Therefore, I saw huge potential when Donna Privé invited me to collaborate. I accepted the offer as a challenge and a fulfillment of my dedication to the fashion industry,” explained Carendelano about his involvement in MADRE.
Caren called this collection Madre, which means “mother” in Spanish. Mother is the main inspiration for the collection, which is dedicated to all mothers. The fashion lineup presented a total of nine clothing sets out of over 20, which will be released in the next three months.
Donna Privé’s signature style is evident in the Madre collection, which is characterized by being feminine, delicate, effortless, and full of details. It easily resonates with women’s personal styles. Caren added new elements to enrich the collection, without losing the main character and DNA of Donna Privé.
Caren transforms a piece of kaftan or flowly dress into a more feminine appearance, adorned with giant-sized floral print embellishments placed on the shoulders or in front of the garment, creating a bold fashion statement. Caren also created oversized blouses and pants in vibrant colors.
“Carnation inspires the floral design of comfortable and effortless garments as a tribute to mothers. Other floral patterns involving chrysanthemums and amaryllis,” added Muli.

Caren incorporated orange elements into Donna Privé’s nude, ombre, light green, cream, and off-white garments to reflect worldwide color trends. Caren and Muli then agreed to include fuchsia pink as one of their favorite colors in the collection. The pink-orange color combination creates a unique and attractive blend in the collection.
Shiny materials, lace, and brocade dominate the collection to emphasize beauty, elegance and modesty. Matching headscarves complete the collection, making them easy to mix and match and seamlessly blending into the overall collection.
The Donna Privé collection has emerged as a more feminine style for women to feel extra lovely, with a touch from Carendelano. (des)
