Roy added that according to KUHAP, a person can be named a suspect only if there are two pieces of evidence and has been questioned, that is also in accordance with Constitutional Court Decision 21/2014. “We regret KPK’s unprofessionalism,” Roy said.
According to him, his client maintained that the alleged gratification found in Lukas Enembe’s bank account was his own money meant for his treatment in Singapore in March 2020.
“The money was transferred in May 2020 because the governor needed to undergo treatment. This can be said to be criminalization because it’s humiliating for a governor to receive a gratification worth Rp1 billion. How come gratification is given through bank transfer?” he said.
