Jakarta, IO – The Social Affairs Ministry (Kemensos) asked the public not to make donations in any form through the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Foundation.

The appeal was conveyed by the ministry’s social potential and resources director Raden Rasman after accusation that the philanthropic outfit misappropriate the charity funds it collected.

The ban was issued after Kemensos officially revoked ACT’s permit to collect money and goods (PUB) from the public for alleged violation of regulations relating to foundation.

“ACT’s permit to collect donations has been rescinded based on Social Affairs Minister Decree 520/HUK-PS/2022,” Rasman told CNN Indonesia on Wednesday (6/7).
