Jakarta, IO – Indonesian flick Agak Laen, directed by Muhadkly Acho, will be shown in a number of cinemas in the United States on March 22, Acho shared via his personal social media account.
“Shown in America. Wow!I” wrote Acho on Instagram @muhadkly, Monday (18/3).
He also attached a list of cities and the names of cinemas that will screen the horror comedy film that tell the goofy story of four friends, namely Bene Dion, Oki Rengga, Indra Jegel, and Boris Bokir in opening a haunted house attraction at a night fair.
Based on the poster distributed, Agak Laen will be shown in 13 American states including California, Florida, Nevada, Oregon, Texas and Washington. It is also currently being shown in three Southeast Asian countries, namely Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam and Singapore, per CNN Indonesia, Tue (19/3).

The film has been a blockbuster success in Indonesia, viewed by almost 9 million and counting cinemagoers since it was premiered on February 1. It occupies the second spot after horror flick KKN di Desa Penari which has been seen by 10 million viewers and broke record as the highest-grossing Indonesian movie of all time. (un)
