Jakarta, IO – Valentine’s Day feels more romantic with BLUE performing before your very eyes! Antony Costa, Simon Webbe, Duncan James, and Lee Ryan successfully rocked the stage and entertained the audience at the Pullman Central Park Hotel, West Jakarta, on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. BLUE’s 20th Anniversary Heart and Soul Tour presented another surprise: Indra Bekti’s appearance as the host. Bekti recently suffered from a hemorrhagic stroke and is currently recovering from a number of surgeries to treat his stroke.’
Another pleasant surprise was Gareth Gates’ opening act. The British Pop Idol winner performed eight songs, including his hit single, “Anyone of Us” (Stupid Mistake).
Then the long-awaited moment arrived: Lee, Duncan, Simon, and Antony started their performance with their hit “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word,” a song that they share with Elton John.
“Thank you so much for coming. It’s a beautiful evening,” said Simon Webbe. The fun continued. BLUE had so far succeeded in making the audience feel nostalgic and sing along with some of their popular songs. “You Make Me Wanna,” “Best in Me,” “Fly By,” “All Rise,” and “One Love,” were some of their best songs performed that night.
BLUE performed 17 songs in around 1.5 hours. Duncan James also thanked the audience and wished them a romantic and happy Valentine’s Day. “Thank you, so much, and happy Valentine’s Day,” kata Duncan.
