Jakarta, IO – The investigation into the death of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat (Brigadier J) entered a new phase. Bharada Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu (Bharada E) has said he is willing to become a justice collaborator (JC) after being named a suspect in the case.
Justice collaborator is someone who is willing to cooperate in providing information and assistance to law enforcement. This means that as long as Bharada E is willing to reveal the main perpetrator in the case that implicated him, he is entitled to protection by the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK).
His request was submitted directly by his lawyers Burhanuddin and Deolipa Yumara to LPSK today.
“In the interest of finding who the main perpetrator is, Bharada E has expressed his readiness to become a justice collaborator (JC). With the express consent of Bharada E, we hereby submitted a request for witness protection,” said Deolipa as reported by CNN Indonesia, Monday (8/8).

Bharada E has been named as a suspect in the fatal shooting of Brigadier J at the official residence of Police internal affairs chief Inspector General Ferdy Sambo on Friday (8/7). He was charged with Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Indonesian Penal Code on murder. (un)
