Jakarta, IO – Political observer Emrus Sihombing bluntly said that Anies Baswedan is not a worthy rival to Prabowo Subianto. In fact, he said the political roadshow conducted by the former Jakarta governor will not match Prabowo’s performance and popularity as the defense minister.
Emrus argues that the NasDem Party’s presidential candidate’s scope of influence is only strong in Jakarta as opposed to nationwide for Prabowo, he told Warta Ekonomi on Friday (25/11).
In his view, the political safari conducted by Anies will not have much impact on his electability.

“Anies can only conduct visits to the regions but he won’t be able to do much. If it’s simply talk or giving speeches, anyone can do it,” he said. “But it won’t bring any real benefits for the people,” he said. (un)
