Jakarta, IO – Ahmad Syahrul Ramadhan, the ambulance driver who transported the body of police Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat (Brig. J), admitted that he felt a strange hunch when told to transport Brig. J’s body after he was fatally shot at Ferdy Sambo’s official residence on July 8.

He also recorded a video of his journey from the crime scene at the Duren Tiga Police Residential Complex to Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, reported CNN Indonesia, Tuesday (8/11).

The footage was later shown in the court where defendants Second Patrolman Eliezer, Chief Brigadier Ricky Rizal and Kuat Ma’ruf were on trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Monday (7/11).

Syahrul said that he made the recording voluntarily without being forced to do it. “I only does it (make a recording) when I feel a strange hunch,” Syahrul told the prosecutor. Syahrul said that was the first time he recorded the transportation of a body. He emphasized that his action was purely based on intuition.
