Jakarta, IO – Online motorcycle taxi (ojol) drivers swapped batteries at Pertamina’s Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station (SPKLU) at MT. Haryono St., Jakarta, Tuesday (8/11).
Since the government increased the price of fuel (BBM), battery-based electric motor vehicles (KBLBB) have surged in popularity and prestige even though internal combustion vehicles still dominate the market.
The government is currently working on a number of incentives such as subsidies for the purchase of electric vehicles to regulations to expedite transition from fossil fuels to electrification. (Muhammad Hidayat)
