Jakarta, IO – The Prambanan Jazz Festival (“PJF”), the annual international music event that showcases the collaboration between two very different art masterpieces: great musical works, played right on the grounds of the ancient religious architectural grandeur that is Prambanan Temple. This year, Rajawali Indonesia successfully held the Festival on 1-3 July 2022.
Anas Syahrul Alimi, founder of Rajawali Indonesia and CEO of Prambanan Jazz Festival, expressed his joy that the Festival went smoothly this year: “Alhamdulillah, praised be Allah, Prambanan Jazz went on smoothly these past three days. In fact, it exceeded our expectations. We all really celebrated our yearnings together, in accordance with our theme of Sewindu merayakan Rindu (“Eight Years of Yearning”). This is thanks to great support from so many people – from the audience members, who came to us from all corners of Indonesia, our sponsors, and certainly the singers and musicians we invited to collaborate with PJF this year,” he said.
It’s a fact that the 2022 Prambanan Jazz Festival showed off some of Indonesia’s finest jazz singers and musicians: Andien, Pamungkas, Ardhito Pramono, Maliq & D’Essentials, Kukuh Kudamai feat. Ndarboy Genk, Diskoria feat. Fariz RM, Melancholic Bitch, Dere, Tulus, Sinten Remen feat. Jogja Hiphop Foundation, Iskandar Widjaja feat. Erik Sondhy, Kunto Aji, Padi Reborn, Sore, Fiersa Besari feat. Bemandry, Mus Mujiono, Deddy Dhukun, Nania Yusuf, Everyday, Trio Lestari, Kahitna, and others.
