Jakarta, IO – Tomohon International Flower Festival (TIFF) this year will be held on August 12 in Tomohon, North Sulawesi.
Lucy Goni, head of the Tomohon City Regional Tourism Promotion Agency (BPPD), said the event will resume for the first time after hiatus induced by Covid-19.
“This festival is held almost every year, except during the pandemic,” said Lucy, per Kompas, Wednesday (14/6).
TIFF is a flower-themed carnival. Lucy said that most of the flowers used in this festival are native Tomohon flowers produced by local farmers. The event will last for a week culminating on August 12.

“It’s like a carnival, so there are floats decorated with flowers, the clothes worn are also flower-themed, so everything is floral,” said Lucy. (un)
